About Us

We are a dealer alternative family run workshop located in Capalaba, the gateway to the Redlands on Brisbane's bayside .

Since 2008 we have been providing complete servicing, brakes, suspension and interior repairs for all makes of cars, but specialising in European car mechanic services for Audi, Volkswagen, and Mercedes-Benz. Our workshop is fully kitted out to work on all vehicles, with the latest technology and equipment, including an advanced diagnostic computer which reads and adjusts settings, air conditioning and basic electrical repairs.

Each member of our workshop team has been trained as a European car mechanic, with the skills and knowledge to work on Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and more. Our parts are OEM and LIQUI Moly Oil. We pride ourselves in quality workmanship which not only reflects in our workshop but extends to you the customer.

Stanley Balfour Leading Technician / Owner Euro-Aus Auto

Stan is the Leading Technician and Saraya is your Service Advisor. Stanley carried out his apprenticeship at Alpine Motors (Volkswagen/Audi Dealership) in Durban, South Africa.

He then decided to move to the UK to work for Poole Audi in Bournemouth, England to gain more experience on Audi and Volkswagen vehicles. Stanley then moved to Australia and worked at the following dealerships in Brisbane: Brisbane Audi Centre, Austral Volkswagen, BMW Motor Line and Highway Volkswagen, giving him plenty of experience as a European car mechanic.

During this time he and his wife Saraya decided to open their own workshop offering customers an alternative to the dealership. In July 2008 they opened Euro-Aus Automotive Pty Ltd at 3/128 Steel Street, Capalaba, Brisbane.

Ever since then, Stan and Saraya have been focused on quality service and customer satisfaction. They believe in reinvesting into the workshop and their team to keep up to date with the latest technology and training.

Morgan Head Technician

Morgan is the head of our mechanical workshop, and was trained under Stan. His knowledge and passion for German European cars is an asset to our company.

Tich Technician

Tich is one of our technicians and has been trained under Stan. He is a gifted technician who takes a great deal of pride in his work.

Jack Technician

Jack completed his apprenticeship right here at Euro-Aus and is now a fully qualified mechanic. He shows great skill and has an eye for detail.

Grant Technician

Grant has spent the past 25 years working for Volkswagen dealers, his experience and training is particularly helpful with diagnostics and mechanical jobs.

Bryan

Bryan has 40 years' experience in the automotive industry, which has included working on Porsche race teams and managing massive tyre shops around the world as well as here in Australia. Bryan is the one you talk to on the phone, he also runs our mobile department and helps Stan with the performance side of the business.

Saraya

Meet Saraya, Stan's wife and business partner - the "real boss"! Back in 2007 Saraya encouraged Stan to follow his dreams of opening his own workshop specialising in European cars, and she has been instrumental to the growth of Euro-Aus Automotive ever since. From washing cars in the early days to working in the office, we couldn’t ask for a more committed and loving owner.

Ger

Meet Ger (short for Gerard), our mobile technician. Ger worked in dealerships in Ireland before making Australia his home, and has nearly a decade of experience as a mobile mechanic. We are proud to have him representing our workshop all over Brisbane!
